Legit
LEGIT is a feature film I wrote and am preparing to direct—a gritty, character-driven story laced with stoner humor and streetwise heart. It follows two lifelong friends—former hustlers—trying to stay clean, only to get pulled back into crime by the weight of loyalty and financial pressure. Their target: two young guys hustling to break into the legal cannabis industry, fighting to get a license in a system built to keep them out. What begins as a scheme turns into a deeper, unexpected connection, as both generations navigate ambition, survival, and what it really means to be legit. Set in present-day New York, the film blends sharp comedy, emotional truth, and the complicated bond between men caught between the past and the future.
Sunday at IL Posto Accanto
Sunday at Il Posto Accanto is a deeply personal, hybrid film blending documentary techniques with narrative storytelling. Set in a beloved East Village restaurant during the early days of reopening after the pandemic, it stars Victor Rasuk, Danny Hoch, and the real people who made the place a sanctuary for community. The film is a meditation on grief, resilience, and the small rituals that keep us connected. It’s about a neighborhood, a family—chosen and otherwise—and the quiet beauty of coming together after isolation. Made on a modest budget with a lot of heart, Sunday at Il Posto Accanto captures a moment in time when the simple act of gathering felt sacred.
